Miami, Florida (November 10, 2010)– The Minority Chamber of Commerce (MCC) is pleased to announce the 2010 10th Anniversary Annual Gala Awardees. The Minority Chamber of Commerce aspires to recognize and reward the most dynamic, visionary, and innovative leaders, entrepreneurs, politicians, public servants, journalists, educators, and international leaders will be honored for a decade of service and leadership to the Minority Communities over the past ten years. Recipients will be honored at an awards gala on November 18, 2010 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the Doral Resort & Spa located at 4400 NW 87th Avenue, Miami, Florida 33178.
“Minority-owned and professional firms continue to play a critical role in the recovery of our economy,” said MCC National Director Doug Mayorga. “The businesses we recognize through these awards have created jobs, expanded the local tax base, given back to their communities, and most importantly, are models for sharing best practices with the rest of the minority business community.”
The National Minority Awards are designed to celebrate and recognize the outstanding achievements of minority entrepreneurs and professionals based on the challenges their business has overcome, its total revenues, total jobs created, and the economic impact the business has had on its community. MCC also recognizes individuals and organizations that have demonstrated leadership and commitment in advancing the minority business community.
